CBS reports possible-murder investigation into missing American sailor

CBS reported in June 2026 that investigators were examining an American sailor’s disappearance during a Bahamas trip as a possible murder. That did not establish a homicide. Associated Press coverage reported that her husband denied wrongdoing and was released without charges. Later July reporting described an ongoing search; no conviction is established here.
