Twelve-year-old survives shark bite during family visit to Staniel Cay

WPBF reported on a twelve-year-old who survived a shark bite during a family visit to the Bahamas in June 2026. Police placed the incident at Staniel Cay on June 23. Coverage describes his brother helping him out of the water before medical treatment. This is separate from the January 2024 Atlantis incident.
