Government says man accused in tourist assault was not an authorised jet-ski operator

The Tribune reported that an American visitor alleged a man who presented himself as a legitimate jet-ski operator and tour guide later grabbed her arm and punched her after she rejected sexual advances. Police confirmed that a complaint was filed and issued a wanted poster. The transport minister said the accused man was not an authorised operator and did not have an authentic Port Department badge. The allegation remains subject to police investigation.
